During the early 50’s to early 60’s, R.G. LeTourneau built 6 Overland Trains and two Buggies. The Overland Trains were designed to move goods and materials without significant roads or rail lines in extreme conditions, hot or cold. A few of the general terms used to describe these machines are Land Trains, Overland Trains, Tournatrains, Sno-Trains, track-less land-trains. You can also learn more about the two buggies used to develop a few of the Overland Train concepts : the Sno/Swamp-Buggy and the Marsh Buggy.
