The Overland Trains book will be my first publication. I have been working with a LeTourneau historian past 2 years. He has been helping me with original Overland Train materials like old photos and stories, and making connections. I’ve phone interviewed, internet chat, and emailed close to two dozen people, or their families. They had direct experiences with these machines, or worked in the Arctic during the Cold War. Unfortunately, many have passed away, with their stories lost forever. My book started out strictly about these machines. It has morphed into something so much more – more about the people, their stories, and the unique experiences in Greenland, Alaska, and the Yukon. I can’t wait to share it with you!
I anticipate publishing the book on Amazon Kindle Publishing, in digital and hard copy format, by the end of 2021.
