I started writing the Overland Trains book in February 2020. The pandemic created an opportunity for me to work from home full time. The change gave me back 2.5 hours a day that I was not commuting to work, and more time to write and research. I started digging, calling and connecting with whomever had direct knowledge and documentation about the Overland Trains in the Arctic, Alaska, or elsewhere. Unfortunately, many have passed away, with their stories lost forever. My book started out strictly about these machines. It has morphed into something so much more – more about the people, their stories, and the unique experiences in Greenland, Alaska, and the Yukon. I can’t wait to share it with you!
The book is available on Amazon, in digital and hard copy format as of September 2022. You can read my Amazon author’s page at https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BFL91FX6.
